Doug Ferro

Republican, Board Member Since 2022, District 1

My name is Douglas Ferro. I am a 39 year old resident of Morris. I was raised in Minooka by my parents Jim and Ann Ferro who still reside there. After attending the University of Illinois I briefly resided in Frankfort until 10 years ago when I moved with my wife Angela to our current home by Nettle Creek Subdivision where we live with our three children.

My Grandfather founded a road construction company, P.T. Ferro, in 1964 where my father and I worked at our entire lives. As a teenager I worked as a laborer then after college performed various office jobs until ultimately becoming an Office Manager overseeing a staff of around 20 people. Then approximately five years ago my father was purchased out of his shares of the company and I decided to leave alongside him.

Now I manage several pieces of commercial real estate while my wife is a school counselor at Minooka High School.

It is an honor to be a part of this board and thank you for the opportunity.
